CHICAGO -- Michael Jordan scored 22 points and Dennis Rodman grabbed 22 rebounds Friday as the Chicago Bulls cruised to a 110-89 victory over the Orlando Magic.

Rodman also scored 10 points and grabbed nine offensive rebounds.

"I think Dennis wanted to come and play well tonight," Jordan said of Rodman, whose daughter made the trip to Chicago and was at the game. "He was very aggressive offensively and defensively. He really set the tone for us."

Toni Kukoc, who missed the previous three games with an ankle injury, scored 18 points for Chicago. Scottie Pippen added 16 points and Randy Brown scored 14.

Rony Seikaly had 20 points and 10 rebounds for Orlando. Dennis Scott and Derek Strong scored 15 points apiece and Gerald Wilkins had 14.

Rodman, going for his sixth consecutive NBA rebounding title, got off to a fast start.

"I looked up at the scoreboard late in the first quarter and he had 12," Jordan said. "He looked like a guy determined to lead the league again."

Rodman, who averages 5.5 points, sometimes scores in transition and on offensive rebounds. But on Friday he even posted up, demanded the ball and scored twice on turnaround jumpers.

"If he's got a post-up move, he should take it," Bulls coach Phil Jackson said. "He was actively being a part of our offense, which is important to us."

"Besides, Dennis deserves to pull the trigger a couple of times, the way he gets those rebounds and usually throws them back out to the rest of us," Pippen said.

Leading 47-45 at halftime, the Bulls opened the third quarter with a 24-4 run. Rodman scored six points and Ron Harper added five during the burst. Jordan's free throw gave Chicago a 71-49 advantage with 3:42 remaining in the period.

The Bulls scored 10 of the first 14 points in the fourth quarter as Kukoc's layup gave them a 90-61 advantage.

CHICAGO shot 54 percent (44 for 82) from the field and outrebounded Orlando 52-29.
