Kerr-plunk
Four was a lucky number in the battle of the NBA's best from 3-point land. Competing in his fourth competition, Steve Kerr won the Shootout for the first time, sinking his first eight shots and cruising to a 22-18 victory over defending champ Tim Legler in the final round. The Chicago Bulls guard dropped all five money balls to win the event in which his previous best finish had been third place.
