The Chicago Bulls placed center Bill Wennington on the injured list with plantar fasciatis of the left foot on Monday.

To fill his spot on the roster, the Bulls activated guard Randy Brown from the injured list.

Brown, who averaged five points and 1.6 rebounds in 47 games, has been out since Feb. 11 with synovitis of the left ankle.

The 7-foot Wennington has averaged 4.7 points and 2.3 rebounds in 50 games this season, averaging almost 14 minutes per game off the bench.

He played just one minute in Saturday's 120-87 rout of the Golden State Warriors and pulled down one rebound.

Wennington missed the previous game with the flu.
