CHICAGO -- Dennis Rodman wasn't exactly on his best behavior Friday as he returned from a one-game suspension.

Rodman, suspended one game for hitting Milwaukee's Joe Wolf in the groin on Monday, grabbed 18 rebounds as the Chicago Bulls took a 104-96 victory over the Indiana Pacers.

With 2:44 left in the third quarter, Rodman got tangled up with Indiana's Antonio Davis under the basket. Rodman got Davis in a bear hug and refused to let go, pulling the Pacers forward out of bounds.

Davis swung his arms to get loose from Rodman, and both players were assessed technical fouls.

Davis said Rodman head-butted him in the chin during the altercation. If the NBA agrees about the head-butt charge, Rodman could be headed toward his fourth suspension of the season.

"The referee said (Rodman) held me up, but it seemed like he held me up for at least a minute," Davis said. "When he head-butted me, I knew he wasn't trying to let me go. It was uncalled for -- after the whistle had blown."
