Bulls can be NBA's top dynasty

Michael Jordan's Bulls are shooting for NBA title No. 5 -- and a piece of immortality.

The Boston Celtics of Bill Russell's era won 11 NBA championships, nearly three times as many as Magic Johnson's Los Angeles Lakers (five) or Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls (four). But if the Bulls go on this year to win their fifth title, they deserve to be considered the league's top dynasty ever, according to an ESPNET SportsZone fan poll. Conquering a league of 29 teams -- the NBA of Russell's era only had eight teams and two playoff rounds -- the Bulls, with 48 percent of the more than 17,000 votes cast, easily earned more respect than either of the above teams. Not that The Zone's Mitch Lawrence or Jeffrey Denberg were swayed by fellow columnist Mike Monroe. Read what they had to say, and make up your own mind.
