Zone users: Jordan deserved MVP

Michael Jordan recorded the first triple-double in the 47-year history of the NBA All-Star Game with 14 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists.

Glen Rice set records for points scored in a quarter and in a half, and his 20-point third quarter catapulted the East to a 132-120 victory.

The media members, who chose Jordan over Shaquille O'Neal in a controversial choice for the MVP last year, spurned His Airness and went with Rice this time -- to the fans' chagrin.

Asked who deserved the MVP trophy for the game, here is how Zone users voted in a one-day poll:

      57 % Michael Jordan

      43 % Glen Rice

      Total votes: 6,554
